1995:
Unsponsored jersey worn for Longford' only championship outing, a heavy loss to Meath. Featured a standard Connolly design.
1996-97:
The Longford Arms Hotel came on board as sponsors and the county utilised another Connolly design, the same as that used by Clare in winning the 1995 hurling All-Ireland. Only ever worn in long-sleeved format as far as we can ascertain.
1998:
Long-sleeved version of the 1995 shirt, now including the Longford Arms wordmark, used in the drawn match and replay win against Wexford in the Leinster championship.
1998:
For the next game, against Westmeath, a brand-new design with hooped sleeves was introduced. Oddly, however, two different styles were used in the one match, one with a Connolly logo...
1998:
...and the other with the more familar Guaranteed Irish emblem.
1999-2000:
Longford returned to O'Neills for the 1999 season and the long-sleeved jersey for league games was just a standard design. Worn when the 2000 O'Byrne Cup was won, the blue shorts still in situ despite white having come in for the championship in '99.
1999-01:
The new white shorts coincided with a new O'Neills design, which like many counties featured the crest on the sleeve.
2002-04:
Updated jersey, now featuring O'Neills' popular 'Brandon' style.
2004:
Long sleeves.
2005-06:
Another change, a tidy design used by Limerick around the same time. The county name now appeared on the socks.
2005-07:
Long-sleeved jersey.
2007:
Introduced for the Leinster championship game against Westmeath, the new jersey featured the three stripes which O'Neills began to re-use more prominently towards the end of the 2000s.
2008-10:
Long-sleeved jersey, with the new frontal numbers that had become mandatory from the start of '08. Worn in subsequent years as updated versions with changed GAA logos were not issued.
2008:
The more usual O'Neills number font was in place on the short-sleeved jerseys for the start of the championship.
2009:
Change to new GAA logo, including the 125th-anniversary text.
2010:
Simpler GAA logo, without anniversary components.
2011:
Change to shorts, with the plainer O'Neills 'Sperrin' style used.
2012-:
Brand-new style launched to coincide with the advent of the sponsorship of Glennon Bros, the Longford Arms Hotel departing after 15 years.
1999:
Clare-esque change kit used in a league game away to Cavan, who wore white.
2001:
Change jersey in the style of the blue shirt launched in 1999. This was worn against Wicklow in the 2001 championship.
2007:
Reversal of new jersey, worn against Laois in the Leinster championship.
2009:
For the game with Wicklow, a slightly different white jersey to the 2007 model was utilised, featuring more blue panels.
2011:
As 2009, but with GAA logo modifid. Used against Laois.
2013:
For the Leinster U21FC game against Dublin, Longford opted to change and this reversal of the blue shirt proved lucky as they won. It was not such a charm in the All-Ireland SFC against Wexford, though.
2014-:
A return to a gold change shirt. First worn by the U21s in another clash against Dublin, it was also used in the All-Ireland qualifier game with Tipperary in July.
